Summary of Benefits for AHS Employees
Automated Health Systems strives to offer their employees a competitive and unique benefits plan that includes:
Health Insurance
Automated Health Systems offers 100% company paid Health Insurance for all regular full-time employees and their
families through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield! Each
employee has the option of two plans and can choose the best fit for them. Employees choosing to decline coverage
under the health insurance plan are offered a monthly waiver payment in lieu of their coverage.
Vision Insurance and Dental Insurance
Automated Health Systems offers regular full-time and part-time employees the opportunity to purchase
vision and
dental insurance for themselves and their families.
AFLAC Insurance
All regular full-time and part-time employees have the opportunity to purchase any
AFLAC product.
This benefit offers the following types of insurances:

Life Insurance
Life Insurance is offered to all regular full-time employees at no cost to the
employee. Coverage will be equivalent to 200% of the annual salary. Employees also have the option to purchase additional personal,
spousal, or dependent term life coverage.
529 College Savings Plan
Automated Health Systems offers all full-time and part-time employees the opportunity to begin a
529 College Savings Plan. AHS sponsors
this benefit; therefore employees will be able to make contributions net asset value (no
administrative costs), meaning that contributions will be invested at full face value. In addition,
all earnings and withdrawals for higher education expenses (including graduate school) are tax-free.
401(k) Plan
A 401(k) plan is available
for all employees age 21 and older who have been employed by Automated Health Systems for at least
one year with at least 1000 hours of service. AHS also offers a contribution matching plan.
Tuition Assistance
After one year of employment, all regular full-time employees are offered the opportunity to receive
up to $1,000 in tuition assistance per calendar year.
Credit Unions*
AHS offers two Credit Union options to each employee and his/her family members: to join the
West Air-Comm Federal Credit Union or the
Health Care Associates Credit Union.
Verizon Wireless*
As an AHS employee, Verizon offers a discount to the primary line on your
Verizon Wireless Account (discount
subject to employee verification and terms of Verizon Wireless).
Vacation Time and Paid Time Off (PTO)
All regular full-time employees will accrue vacation time and paid time off based on hire
date and company policy.
Dell Employee Purchase Program
As an AHS employee, Dell offers an Employee
Purchase Program, an additional 7% off electronics and accessories on top of general advertised Dell
Home and Home Office promotions (discount subject to employee verification and Dell promotions).
Holiday Observance*
AHS provides a regular full-time employee time off with pay for those holidays designated as
legal holidays in accordance with each project’s contractual requirements and the state government’s
recognition of that holiday.
