Automated Health Systems is committed to the management, administration and marketing of quality Vaccines for Children (VFC) Programs. Because of our history in Pennsylvania with implementing and maintaining the PA VFC Program and our ongoing work with New Jersey VFC, few organizations can match the direct experience and knowledge of State and local Health Departments, vaccine warehouse/distributors, vaccine manufacturers, provider and agency bases, eligible families, and government infrastructure that AHS brings to the effort.

Working with Immunization and VFC project staff to identify the requirements of your State's VFC Program, AHS will ensure that your VFC Program not only meets, but exceeds the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) requirements. We offer experienced, comprehensive health program administration that has been recognized by the CDC through site visits, presentations at national conferences and regional workshops and through our on-going contracts.

Using a systems approach for strategic management, AHS will work from a content perspective ("This is what needs to be done.") and a process perspective ("Here is how to do it."). Our strategy covers:

• Provider Relations: marketing; recruitment; enrollment; training and education; retention; satisfaction surveys; and excellent customer service
• Vaccine Order Processing: maintaining the provider file; updating the annual profile based on benchmarking/doses administered/other data; processing vaccine orders electronically; maintaining appropriate inventory; working with the warehouse/distributor (in-house or contracted)
• Quality Improvement: visiting sites for Vaccine Accountability, AFIX/LQA and CASA; storage and handling recommendations; detecting and reporting fraud and abuse; reinforcing immunization schedule and coverage goals; and providing general immunization education
• Comprehensive Reporting and Data Management: including development of systems to support and augment VACMAN; compilation of data; reporting in a user-friendly format (with a narrative and interpretive charts/graphs); and other information technology services
