AHS awarded TennCare Connect contract.
The State of Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration has selected Automated Health Systems to contract for member contact center services for its TennCare Connect program. AHS will provide the staff, facility and management of a state-furnished contact center to support TennCare’s Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) eligibility services for individuals seeking to obtain and maintain eligibility in those programs. The contract allows AHS to continue our trajectory of providing excellent service and partnership to TennCare. For over five years, TennCare has embarked on a journey to modernize their Medicaid and CHIP programs to better serve applicants and members. AHS has been a solid partner during this significant modernization and looks forward to extending this partnership during this next exciting phase in TennCare Connect. The contract is for two years with three one-year options.
“We are honored to continue our partnership with TennCare in supporting applicants and members,” said Dr. Moses Haregewoyn, President of AHS.
“TennCare has created a culture of collaboration and we have been continuously inspired to be a partner in such transformative efforts. We look forward to continuing the excellent service TennCare applicants and members trust. We will reflect the values and commitment TennCare has repeatedly demonstrated,” Dr. Haregewoyn stated.
