Taking place annually throughout the month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month aims to raise awareness about the disease and raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.
Each year, AHS celebrates with our Survivors by holding a breakfast to promote awareness, remember those we have lost and give employees an opportunity to help continue the fight against breast cancer. Kimberly Conner, Executive Senior Vice President of Human Resources said, “Giving back is so important to our culture at AHS. As we consider good health and nutrition crucial to a positive lifestyle, we are happy to sponsor an annual breakfast in our Pittsburgh office in support of this vital initiative.”
Organized by a team of employee volunteers, breakfast participants are asked to make a small donation benefiting the American Cancer Society.
