AHS kicks off Rhode Island open enrollment for 2020.

As this unprecedented year draws to a close with the uncertainty brought about by the coronavirus, it is more important than ever for Rhode Islanders to have access to quality health coverage options. Partnering with HealthSource Rhode Island, Automated Health Systems kicked off open enrollment for 2020, allowing individuals and families to select coverage options that best fit their needs.

“Rhode Islanders can select new or existing health coverage provided by the Health Insurance Exchange for the upcoming year,” said Christine DiFrancesco, Vice President at AHS.

“In the face of the extraordinary challenges this year has presented,” Ms. DiFrancesco continued, “we congratulate HealthSource RI for their commitment to keep health care costs low while providing access to quality care.”

Automated Health Systems offers a variety of convenient options to help Rhode Islanders obtain the health coverage they need: Call the contact center, engage in an online chat session, or attend an online virtual enrollment event. Open Enrollment in Rhode Island runs until January 23, 2021. Plans selected by December 31, 2020 will cover services starting January 1, 2021. Plans selected in January 2021 will be effective February 1, 2021.
